Tim’s Take: The Preserve is a very traditional course with no hidden surprises. Pines and hardwoods beautifully line the open fairways to the greens. A fun tract!
Evaluation: A members’ course to be enjoyed by all handicaps.
Opened in 1988, Preserve is the second course built at Lake Oconee. Bob Cupp designed it in conjunction with Hubert Green and Fuzzy Zoeller.

Preserve is a classic design resort course in every respect. Sometimes overlooked by the other five Reynolds courses which are newer and more dramatic, it is a great layout to prepare for the more difficult courses.
Located in Reynolds Plantation, the Preserve course offers a full service restaurant and pro shop on site.
Members of Reynolds Lake Oconee have access to six golf courses based upon which membership level they choose. Amenities in three separate gated golf communities include several restaurants, tennis facilities, and four marinas with dry storage.
The Lake Club is a state of the art facility which includes a lakefront indoor exercise area, indoor pool, and three outdoor pools on site and is accessible by car or boat.
Planned activities are offered throughout the year from nature walks, wine tastings, and concerts plus a multitude of other offerings for members. Property owners are from all fifty states and international countries. Reynolds members are an eclectic group of various professional backgrounds.
