Cove/Ridge/Bluff
The National course consists of three separate 9 hole tracts. Designed by Tom Fazio, the Ridge and Bluff tracts were opened in 1997.
The Cove tract followed in 2000. Greens are Champion Bermuda grass.
Each tract is par 36. Yardage from the tips and Slope and rating are combined as below:
Bluff/Cove 7034 yds. 137/73.8
Cove/Ridge 6987 yds. 138/73.6
Ridge/Bluff 6955 yds. 137/73.4
The combination of tract offers more diversity than the other courses. The mix of interior and lakefront holes challenges the golfer to plan each shot. A new clubhouse and The Tavern restaurant have opened on site to rave reviews!
Located in Reynolds Lake Oconee, the National course offers a full service restaurant and pro shop on site.
Members of Reynolds Lake Oconee have access to six golf courses based upon which membership level they choose. Amenities in three separate gated golf communities include several restaurants, tennis facilities, and four marinas with dry storage.
The Lake Club is a state of the art facility which includes a lakefront indoor exercise area, indoor pool, and three outdoor pools on site and is accessible by car or boat.
Planned activities are offered throughout the year from nature walks, wine tastings, and concerts plus a multitude of other offerings for members. Property owners are from all fifty states and international countries. Reynolds members are an eclectic group of various professional backgrounds. In summary, the golf courses and the amenities are world class in every respect.
Tim’s Take: The triple combination offers a fun round for every golfer! No tricks or surprises from hole to hole!
Evaluation: A members’ course to be enjoyed by all handicaps.
