Opened in 1992, Harbor Club was the third course built at Lake Oconee. It is a Tom Weiskopf/Jay Moorish design incorporating various elevation changes and beautiful views.
Par is 72 at 7014 yards from the tips. Slope and rating are 137/73.7 with A1A4 Bentgrass greens.
Several holes bring the lake, creeks, and ponds into play. The undulating terrain challenges golfers throughout the round.
Harbor Club was the second gated golf community at Lake Oconee. It is a beautiful community especially in the Spring when the cherry trees, dogwoods, and azaleas are in a colorful bloom.
The community is comprised of beautiful lakefront, golf course, interior homes and some townhomes. The club house offers a full service restaurant and pro shop. A separate exercise facility is state of the art.
In addition to a boat launch ramp there is a marina with dry storage. The Boat House lakefront restaurant is a favorite amongst locals and includes a ship’s store.
Near the club house are the tennis courts and the pool. Most residents traverse the property in private golf carts for ease of access to amenities. The most famous resident, Mickey Mantle, lived in Harbor club for many years.
Harbor Club is recognized as a very friendly community at Lake Oconee with mostly full time residents.
