
Opened in 1986 The Landing was the first golf course built at Lake Oconee. Originally known as Port Armor, the entire development was purchased by then Reynolds Plantation.
Subsequently many improvements and extensive renovations were completed. It is a Bob Cupp design with TifEagle bermuda greens. Par is 72 at 7048 yards from the tips. Slope and rating are 138/74.4. The course presents a variety of challenges with various elevation changes throughout.
Located outside Reynolds in a separate gated community, The Landing course offers a full service restaurant and pro shop on site. Members of Reynolds Lake Oconee have access to six golf courses based upon which membership level they choose. Amenities in three separate gated golf communities include several restaurants, tennis facilities, and four marinas with dry storage.
The Lake Club is a state of the art facility which includes a lakefront indoor exercise area, indoor pool, and three outdoor pools on site and is accessible by car or boat.
Planned activities are offered throughout the year from nature walks, wine tastings, and concerts plus a multitude of other offerings for members. Property owners are from all fifty states and international countries.
